By: Samuel Isenberg and Bianca Vucetich, Juniors iPrep’s Robotics team, the Phoenix Gears, has risen from its ashes; it is beginning anew this year. This year, junior Joel Olender has put his two years of club experience as the club’s president. The Phoenix Gears meet every Wednesday from 3PM to 5PM and Fridays from 3PM to 4PM in room 227. Each meeting, members help design and code the robot in preparation for the First Tech Challenge competition season. All high school students in good academic standing are able to join the club. This year, the club has opened up a VEX robotics team for 7th and 8th graders to join. The Robotics Club is looking forward to see where the year will take them; hopefully, that includes some more wins!

Samuel Isenberg & Bianca VucetichSam: Some things to know about me include my pride in my Jewish culture. I am a big fan of music and story-rich games such as Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced edition. |
