Need a break from iPrep’s rigorous stem courses? Miss having the arts at your school? Then you should join the music club! It’s a great opportunity to relax and jam out with fellow music loving classmates. It focuses on “providing a fun space for members to find friends and make music together,” as the club mission statement details.
The club was created by Amy Zhou and Sofia Garcia to create a performing arts club in our completely stem run school. They wanted to create an environment of like minded people who have a passion for music and supporting their community.

A usual meeting is very laid back and lets the members practice their music as they wish. This approach allows for creativity to flow and a way for the members to relax and bond with others. As well, the club is run by fellow music enthusiasts, so one of their aims is to welcome students who share a common passion for music.
If you’re interested in joining the club, they meet every Thursday after school from three to four in Mr. Castro’s classroom (room number 227). All middle and high schoolers are welcome to the club! You can go to Mr. Castro’s room to find the music club flyer with a QR code to a google form to enter the club or just drop by their next meeting. This club is truly a great opportunity for the students of iPrep. Not only are we beyond sufficient in stem related areas, we could be well versed in the arts too. Being a well rounded student can help you in many ways, so join the music club to let that creativity flow and unlock a new side of yourself. You might even find a new passion!
Music Club is a great opportunity to destress after school, possibly learn a new skill, and make new friends!
If you have any questions for the club or want to learn more about it you can contact them at [email protected].
