Dear iPrep Academy Graduating Class of 2021,
Throughout the long history of the Phoenix Flyer, the senior class has always contributed on a monthly basis-- telling the school and the entire Miami Community about their lives, passions, hopes, dreams, and how they see the world. In the past year, our team has had the ultimate pleasure of reading your work, editing your articles, and speaking with you about your contributions to the school newspaper that we all love. Thank you so much for your hard work this year! We're proud to call you our upperclassmen and admire your drive, charisma, friendliness, and passion. As juniors who will soon become seniors, seeing you all "walk the walk" and "talk the talk" has given us the motivation to chase our dreams and persevere the tribulations of our final year.
Congratulations & Thank you again.

Below are some interviews of iPrep Seniors! Read below to enjoy their favorite iPrep memories and their visions for the future.
Nicole Calero"One of my favorite moments in iPrep was the argument between Adam Weinberg (an eagle) and Mr. Sultz (a patriot) on a Sunday before the Superbowl; they had a conflict that escalated to ‘what are you gonna do about’ similar to acting like a mascot/ fan."
"In the future, I'd like to become a lawyer or attend law school." |
*Correction: The Phoenix Flyer editors are sorry for the misprint, misinformation, or misquote: Mr. Sultz is a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, and Adam Weinberg is a fan of the New England Patriots.

Camila Lopez"My favorite memory at iPrep is having yearbook meetings after school in Mr. Arrison’s room. I would always have so much fun eating and laughing with the rest of the staff and working together on a project we were all passionate about. Working on the yearbook again this year also brought a lot of memories, jokes, and connections that I’ll keep with me in the future."
"Because I am going to D.C. for college, my goal for the future is to learn more about politics and international affairs, and then hopefully, continue working in that field once I graduate." |
Bryanna Major"My favorite iPrep memory was this one time where I came in early went to meet my friends in the breakout room. Everyone was so tired because we had an assignment for Keller the night before. The mood pretty heavy, and we didn’t really speak to each other or anything. We just laid down on the couches and floor to try to take a short nap before class started... It was one of those true times where my friends and I didn’t even need to speak to each other to know how we all felt."
"My plans for the future are to become a lawyer and open up my own law firm. After that, I plan to create a community outreach program for low income communities that centers around financial literacy and planning for college. I want it to also be a hub for social support by providing resources such as social work, after care, and food." |
Melissa DigonIn the future, Melissa wants...
“To be happy ✨ with lots of money” |
