By: Allison Almazan, Sophomore I’ve been doing exercise for the past week. It’s not bad after all, at least it keeps my mind distracted. I watched TONS of movies and shows on Netflix and Disney+ and I don't know what else to watch anymore. I’m getting tired of Tik Tok, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. I’ve been painting, drawing, and reading to make the quarantine a little less boring. I tried to paint something for my brother. It was okay for my first painting but I want to practice more so I can get better on it. I decided to start reading another book called Milk and Honey. It’s a poetry book written by Rupi Kaur. I’ve liked it so far. This is one of the poems I enjoyed the most: you tell me to quiet down cause
my opinions make me less beautiful but i was not made with fire in my belly so i could be put out i was not made with lightness in my tongue so i could be easy to swallow i was made heavy half blade and half silk difficult to forget but not easy for the mind to follow - rupi kaur
