By Alberto Grand, Senior The SAT, and by that matter the ACT, are both important standardized assessments that measure your skills in core areas. However, these tests require countless hours of preparation. There are plentiful online guides, physical textbooks, and practice books. There are YouTube lessons for practice and preparation, and some of these even cost money. Luckily for iPrep students, some of our teachers have began to implement one of the best resources to prepare for the SAT: Khan Academy.
Teachers at iPrep have started to see the benefits and the usefulness of this service, like Ms. Keller. She uses Khan Academy with all of her Junior English classes from the beginning of the school year to begin a routine of practice for the important skills needed for the tests.
Other teachers like Ms. Hankollari and Ms. Hauser also apply Khan Academy directly to their curriculum in their math classes. They like to use it for extra practice on material that is important for the SAT/ACT and for review during class. This FREE tool is a great opportunity to review and prepare for one of the most important tests for the college application process.
